How to measure a drawer for an organizer
Empty the drawer and inspect sloping sides, raised edges, screws and fittings. The front does not describe the tray’s support area or closed clearance.
Measure usable width at the front and back, depth between actual support limits and height throughout closing. Include utensils projecting above the tray; product height alone is insufficient.
A paper outline of the documented footprint helps compare layouts, without forcing the drawer or introducing objects that could jam it. It does not test height, stability or access. Reserve space for long utensils and separate occasional pieces. Record width, depth, clear height, obstacles and desired layout, then compare the exact manufacturer reference and the space needed to remove the tray for cleaning.
Our own documentary content, without physical testing or an assessment of compatibility with your cabinet.
