Brabantia 209888 · grey 3 L Sort & Go food-waste caddy

Description and use

Small caddy for peelings and other food scraps on a worktop or in a drawer with opening clearance. The manual lid can stay open while preparing food.

Documented information

Model 209888; EAN 8710755209888. Nominal capacity 3 L. Manufacturer external dimensions: height 181, width 188 and length 139 mm; its “Length” axis is retained as length rather than cupboard width. Wall bracket sold separately; maximum hanging load unconfirmed. Compatible PerfectFit code A bags available separately.

Advantages

• The small volume allows a collection point close to the preparation area.
• The handle and bottom grip help hold the bin when emptying; the lid can stay open.

Drawbacks

• Emptying frequency depends on use; odour control or composting inside the caddy is not documented.
• External measurements alone do not establish lid opening, grip space or removal clearance.

Who we recommend it for

For collecting food scraps during preparation and carrying them to the appropriate food-waste bin. Check that enough worktop space remains.

What to check before buying

• Confirm model, capacity, colour and package contents.
• Check full opening, access to remove the bin and the standing or mounting surface.
• Clean by hand following manufacturer instructions; dishwasher permission is not claimed.
