Base or side mounting for a pull-out system

Bottom mounting fixes to the cabinet base; side mounting uses its sides according to the system’s design. Neither method alone proves greater strength.

Read instructions for the exact reference: fixing points, supplied parts, tools, front type and any drilling permission required. Do not improvise screws, distances or adapters from a catalogue photograph.

For side mounting, check the permitted width range and required parallelism. For bottom mounting, check the support area and hardware position. Both need unobstructed travel throughout movement. Find your model’s row on drawings covering several references. Ask the manufacturer about ambiguities before buying or drilling; this guide does not assess your cabinet or replace installation instructions.

30 or 40 cm cupboards: why nominal width is not enough

Nominal width identifies a cabinet family, not the clear space available. Cabinets with the same nominal size can use different panels, hinges and construction. Record nominal size separately from internal measurements.

Adjustable Separators: what to check before buying

Check both ends of the adjustment range. A maximum length greater than your drawer width does not prove that the minimum is short enough. Distinguish product length from the manufacturer’s permitted working span.
