Before you choose

Capacity and footprint

Liters do not describe shelf space or the weight of food a container can hold. Check each item’s external width, depth and height with its lid; packaging dimensions are not jar dimensions.

Opening, stacking and care

Allow clearance for lifting or sliding lids. Stack only when the manufacturer permits it and pieces can be removed safely. Containers, seals and lids may have different cleaning and temperature limits.

Bread boxes and sets

Measure your usual bread and the documented internal space. External size does not guarantee usable capacity or freshness duration. Confirm the exact number of pieces, food-use instructions and closure. Glass, plastic or steel alone does not prove airtightness or microwave and dishwasher suitability.

Analysis of manufacturer documents, without physical testing. External dimensions do not guarantee installation or fit. Check clearances and the exact variant before buying.

30 or 40 cm cabinets: why nominal width is not enough

Nominal width identifies a cabinet family, not the clear space available. Cabinets with the same nominal size can use different panels, hinges and construction. Record nominal size separately from internal measurements.

Adjustable Separators: what to check before buying

Check both ends of the adjustment range. A maximum length greater than your drawer width does not prove that the minimum is short enough. Distinguish product length from the manufacturer’s permitted working span.
